One thing less....
Phew finally one thing less from the wedding list - Food tasting. Yesterday was the food tasting for our wedding dinner with both our families. Rush home from work as mum say no need to drive so many cars there. Went home to change into some nice and comfortable before heading out again for the dinner.
Traffic on the way there was not too bad minus off the accident (just happen not long from the looks of it) we came across on CTE. Was there early, mum and the rest are still not there yet. Dinner started shortly around 7.40pm after mum, aunt Nancy etc reached. Bought a bottle of Chile - Merlot from Raymond (ex neighbour's younger son) to try out before ordering 2 crates from him for the wedding dinner.

Had lots of laughs during the dinner and we also discuss about the "Ping Li" for the wedding. "Ping Li" is the dowry for the bride & her family from the groom side. Mum also showed us the pull up banners which she got it done in China each about $10SGD. The banners are lovely and nicely done, King likes it too (but i have this feeling that our friends will definitely laugh when they sees it!).
Total there are 8 course and 1 surprise birthday cake (for mum) for the night. Menu consist of - Suckling Pig Combination, Braised Shark's Fin Soup with Fish Maw & Crabment, Chef Joe's Special Crispy Roast Chicken, Steamed Live Sea Bass with Soya Sauce, Pan-Fired Prawns in Butter & Garlic Sauce, Lingzhi & Black Mushroom with Seasonal Vegetables, Double Happiness Noodles with Assorted Meat, Red Bean Paste with Lotus Seeds and Durain Cake.

The food overall was great, hope it will be as great as it was during the wedding dinner. Made some comments for a few dishes like the Shark's Fin Soup was a little diluted, Sea Bass was abit fishy, Noodles too much MSG and change the Red Bean Paste kind of sweet (everyone agree it should be changed) to Mango Sago with Vanilla Ice-Cream (Yum Yum LOL I like).
Half way through after the noodles, the Assistant Banquet Manager dim the lights and brought the cake out, singing the birthday song for mum (LOL will give her the present tomorrow at the BBQ instead). The durain cake that Kaylynn - the Assistant Sales Manager of F&B/Catering and Chirstine - Assistant Sales Manager of Rooms Division prepared for mum was great (Thanks to them), mum love it.

PS. 40 days more to go and I'm starting class again next week... boring (T.o)

43 day more....
That's right, 43 days more till my big day alright. Exams are finally but the storm is not over yet. Was mugging like hell at home last week, all so stressed up everyday man. Don't think I did well for my papers thought. Principles of Marketing maybe could be able to pass but Principles of Business Management II might have problem passing.
All the focus questions that the lecturer gave the class did not come out at all during the paper. The whole class got a shock when we realised it different from what we have been mugging so hard for the past few days or week. (SHIT). 20% of the stayed for only an hour before leaving the exam hall. I stayed a little long them, yup 15 minutes longer (LOL).
The class has voted and decided to write a petition about the exam paper. Well basically i have nothing against the ideal as i have nothing to lose if the petition is over ruled. I'm going shopping after work for mum's birthday present. King and I decided to get mum a bag for her as birthday present (it's not cheap ok).
Tomorrow we have an appointment with Whitelink to view our wedding photos layout for our albums etc at 7pm. And we will be having our food tasting on Thursday together both of our families (hope it turns out well). As the days draws nearer and nearer, headache seems to be getting lesser but there are other things for me to stress on.
PS. Class will be resuming next week, every Monday and Wednesday night as usual.

I'm in pain....
Yes that right, you heard me, I'm in pain. What kind of pain? Those pain that keeps one awake the whole night causing one to lose sleep. What am i talking about? I referring to my old back injury, it's never been gone and it seems to be getting worst (argh i hate it). Yesterday night i simply can feel the pain even when i breath while laying on my back trying to sleep.
That's how bad it was lately. Trips to chinese medical hall for acupuncture doesn't seems to help and work much wonders for my back. Right now as I'm in office blogging this entry, I have medicated plaster on my back. My doctor tells me it's just a sprain on the back and stretching will help and heal but i think other wise.
Yesterday King's father was talking about his trip to this particular chinese medical hall at admiralty is pretty good. Just 1 trip to the medicine hall for acupuncture and he is feeling much better on his right arm. He was saying that me and King should go and give it a try there plus the medical fees is not expensive at all (it even much more cheaper than what we paid for at the other medical hall).
Told King about it and he said will go try it out when free. In other 56 days more, it will be the big day but my health conditions doesn't seems to be in good shape especially I'm having injuries here and there (sigh). Examinations is next Monday and Thursday (stress stress stress), i will be busy mugging for it so i will not be updating my blog till after next Friday. Oh and i will be on leave Monday & Thursday 1/2 day afternoon and full day Wednesday.
PS. Hope my back pain will get better soon before my wedding day. In pain now so no mood to upload any photos.

Michael Jackson.........
Was watching the Michael Jackson tribute which was aired on Tuesday 1.45am (OMG). Luckily i using the hub station in our room so we had it recorded down while we sleep (LOL). The past 2 weeks MTV channel 20 and 51 on SCV have been playing MJ's music videos every now and then. Even channel 5 are showing reports on and off about him. His songs till now still lingers on my mind.
I was simply crying all the way for a superstar that i have never met him my entire life or know when i was watching his memorial tribute. Many big artiste like Jennifer Hudson, Lionel Richie, Quince Jones, Usher, Magic Johnson, Mariah Carey, John Mayer etc either sang or gave speeches dedicated to him. The concert hall was pack with thousand of MJ's family members, friends and fans. It was so heavy in the heart of all during the tribute.
I wonder anyone else beside me cried while watching to his memorial tribute or just me alone? Was telling King that we should buy his MTV dvd and concerts dvd but most the place should be all sold out by this time. King says MJ's recording label will sure grab this opportunity to mass produce more copies of all his dvds and make a kill. So maybe till they make more copies then we will buy 1 or 2 of his dvds.
All members of the Jackson family was there at the memorial service. Guess what, MJ's coffin is made of solid GOLD man (OMG) and the whole tribute cost about 1.4 million usd. I guess MJ's memorial tribute is the most biggest, most grand and most expensive ever, compared to rest of the other super star who have passed away (I think even Elvis can't compare to MJ's). More than 1.2 million people had apply online for memorial tribute tickets where only 17 thousand get it.
Some of them who got the tickets tired to sell the tickets away to the highest bidder. And the bids can go as high as a few thousand dollar when the tickets were actually free of charged (WTF!). To many MJ is a icon, a legend, a wonder etc and the people around the world is grieving about his death. I personally felt heart ache for his 3 young children, they were still so young (I wonder what would happen to them?). Farewell and rest in peace the world greatest performer ever lived - Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009).
PS. We will all miss Michael Jackson forever. (Peace)

Which one better?
My mum wants to do a pull up banner type poster with 1 of the wedding photo i took with King. So yesterday after work, all three of us went down to WhiteLink to choose which photo to be used. Mum pick out 2 photos but I can't decide which 1 looks better. Would it be weird to display such a big poster of me and King at the our wedding dinner reception counter?
King and I will be going back to WhiteLink again on the 29th to view and choose the layouts for our wedding photo album and the photos to used for the rest of the 18 inch frame, bedside table photo frame etc. Yesterday when we went down, the photos are yet to be touched up etc. It has been 2 months since we took the photoshoot but till now the photos are not touched up yet (WTF!).

(Photo 1?)
(Or photo 2?)
I'm eager to see the final result after the touch up has been done. I look forward to lay my hands on my wedding albums (so excited man). But you know what, actually without touch up all our photos taken looks quite good (LOL thick skin). Even though the photos are well taken but i still want to retake again overseas if possible some other time (photos are the best way to keep beautiful memories).30th will be our food tasting at Marina Mandarin and early celebration for mum's birthday which happen to be 1st August. We wanted to celebrate and have our food tasting on the 31st or 1st but no function room are available for both dates. Hope everything goes well during the food tasting cause i had alot of trouble while organizing and coordinating the food tasting to suit everyone else but myself (SIGH!!!).
PS. So which photo is better? Which one should i use for the pull up banner? Any suggestions?
