Hotels...
Went to M Hotel yesterday after work with my mum and aunt but we were kind of disappointed with the ballroom/function room. The maximum number of table the ballroom/function room is only 32 which me and KING is looking at least a 36 tables. To be exact after taking out those table's view that are blocked, the ballroom/function best to place only 28 tables, which there is no way that we can cut down on the guest list to suit 28 tables.
Spoken to KING over the phone about this last night issue when he called me. Anyway KING is not very interested in holding the dinner at M Hotel. Today after work, we will be going to view Marina Mandarin Hotel. Comments given by some of my colleagues, friends and even my boss was that Marina Mandarin would be a better choice (not sure myself but I'm keeping my fingers cross as KING prefers Marina).
I feel so tired having to crack my small sized brain for all this. Hope we can settle the hotel issue soon so that i can concentrate on outstanding issues like buying of new flat, my wedding gown/ photo shoot, honeymoon venue etc. Too bad my dear KING can't help much as he is pretty occupied with his work and new posting soon (no worries dear i understand muack just do what you need to at work). So dear people i need help, please say yes if i ask you OK ha ha ha.
My colleagues says i lost weight, guess is due to all stress and pressure I'm under lately. KING say that i look pale. Having to jagged most of the things myself is really taxing on me but when i start to think after all that is over everything will be great kind of ease my heart down a little. Really wish to go on a hoilday to relax abit, to get away from all the stress. But due to shortage of time, work etc it doesn't allow me to do so (sob sob how i wish i could).
PS. As usual, no pictures to upload but will try to see if i can take some nice pictures of Marina Mandarin later no ha ha ha.

Wedding Lunch to Dinner
Yeah! I finally sold and close the selling deal of my flat last night. So now one thing less on the to-do-list, next will be buying of new flat the more headache part. Went around and saw a few units and out of the few, there 2 units that me and KING likes.
In another 7 months time it will the big day for me and KING. Initially our plans was to have a simple solemnisation ceremony followed by a sumptuous 22 dish buffet lunch, by the level poolside of Changi Village Hotel. But mum wants a normal Chinese dinner at some well to do hotels in town area reason being more convenient for others.
No choice but to cancel the booking we made with Changi Village Hotel. Out of the stack of hotels information my mum printed out for us, we picked have out 3 hotels that we like and they are - Marina Mandarin Hotel, M Hotel and Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel. Out of the 3 choices we picked, KING prefers Marina Mandarin Hotel more.
Mum has made arrangement to view M hotel's function/ballroom this coming Thursday but KING will not be able to make it as he will sailing and only be back on Friday late afternoon. Mum and I will be going to view instead. ourselves. Had told mum to arrange to view Marina Mandarin Hotel next week so that KING can go with us.
Mum also wants to have a meet the parents session this coming Sunday for either lunch or dinner with KING's parents to discuss about our wedding issue etc. Oh we should be going to try and pick our wedding gowns end of March. Will update again soon. Hope and pray everything will turn out well and smooth for me and KING.
PS. No pictures to update so far but will do so if i have any.

Valentine's Day Dinner???

Was looking and going through some places online, hoping to find a good place for dinner on Valentine's Day with my dearest KING. It's gonna be our first Valentine's Day celebration for us. Next in line after Valentine's Day will be our one year anniversary ha ha ha (time does flies past very fast). Below are some of my findings and recommendations for couple looking forward to something simple.
My first choice of place after going through a few places was - Blue Basil @ 56 Cairnhill Road. They are offering a Valentine's Day set menu dinner @ $79.90++ per couple (early birds get 15% discount before 5th Feb). http://www.bluebasil.com.sg/images/ValentineMenu.pdf But they are fully booked and tables are only available after 9pm. My second choice after Blue Basil is - Mykii @ 17 Lorong Liput, Holland Village. The Valentine's Day set menu dinner, 3 course set @ $88++ per couple (get 2 complimentary glasses of house pour wine/mocktail on the house). http://www.mykii.com.sg/ But KING perfers to dine in town. Couples interested can try it out and give me your feedback. My third choice after Mykii is - Corner Stone Retail Bar & Bistro @ 30 Robertson Quay, Riverside View Apartments. Valentine's Day set menu dinner @ $88++ per couple (early bird special - rsvp by 10 Feb and receive a complimentary glass of icewine). Dinner starts at 7pm. Though is in town but out of the way if we have other plans install after dinner.
Finally in the end, we settled for - L'Espresso @ Goodwood Park Hotel. Their Valentine's Day 3 course set dinner is @ 98++ per couple. Menu as follow - “Blue Ocean Sampler” of “Gilardeau Oyster in Subtle Jelly and Sevruga Caviar”, “Marinated King Crab with Avocado and Bloody Mary Sorbet”, share a main course of “Mixed Grill Sampler of US Beef Tenderloin, Lamb Chop, Spring Chicken, Jumbo Prawns and Chilean Seabass” and sweeten the night with a tantalizing dessert of “Wild Strawberry Jelly with Passion Fruit and Mango Sorbet”.
Couples with alittle bit more money to spare can opt for the following recommendations. The Universal Restaurant & Wine Bar @ 36 Duxton Hill. Valentine's Day menu @ $198++ per couple (10% discount). http://www.theuniversal.com.sg/ Menu includes - Assiette of Pacific Oysters, Consommé of Maine Lobster, Flash Seared Red Coral Prawn, Char Broiled Angus Beef Rossini and Dessert with a choice of Coffee or Tea. Or if not Uluru Aussie Bar & Steakhouse @ 40 Duxton Hill. The Valentine's Day dinner menu is @ $168++ per couple (10% discount). http://www.uluru.com.sg/ Menu includes - Candy of Foie Gras & Squab, Trio Textures of the Sea, Cream of White Asparagus, 40°C Poach Wild Perch OR Roast Angus Tenderloin and 5 chocolate tastings for desserts with free fl ow of bubbly, Wine or Beer. PS. Those above are just some recommendations from me but if you got better ones do feel free to share with me he he he.

A sudden sadness fills up my whole mind today when i woke up for work. Can't believe times files past me so fast before anyone cares to slow down to notice and remembers it. I told myself that i have to brave hard not to tear in front the monitor as i blog this entry in office now. Today marks a important and memorable day of my life.
Questions - How are you doing my dear? Is everything going well for you so far? Are you surrounded by beautiful angels? Is god doing a good job taking care of you for me? Do you miss me? What have you been doing for the past year in the care of god? Are learning to take care of yourself? How do you look like now?
Answers - I guess i will never get to know any of the answers to me questions.
I miss you so much that it hurts very badly when i think of you. I pray that you can hear my prayers i say at night dedicated only to you my dear and that you doing great in the care of god. May you be descend to a good family soon or have already be send to a great family. Please forgive for the bad that i have done to you.
