Catching up with the old days....
Caught up again recently with my long lost classmates over a nice, yummy and my all time favourite - Steamboat (LOL). Thinking back the good old times we had during school days when suddenly the thought that we are OLD hits me (.... sigh). This was our second gathering and we remembered to take pictures this time (LOL).
The last gathering at Swensens (which was also our first reunion gathering) we simply forgot about taking any PICTURES (LOL). Time flies past very fast, it seems that all of us have known each another for more than 10 years (OMG). We had so much fun and laughter over dinner where we crack jokes at each other (lame right).
In life, how many long time friends do you have that you are still in contract with? Come to think of it, i don't have many till i found them again and it's not easy. I treasure all my friends around me (you know who you are ok) and i don't want to loose them. I guess you will feel the same way too as me when it comes to close and long time friends.
We head for coffee at TCC where we chill and crack more lame jokes etc. Time always past so fast that by the time we finish our drinks it almost 11.45pm. But before we head home, we took more pictures and had arrange the next meet up next month. It feels good to have find back all my friends suddenly again. I look forward for the next gathering to come and have another great time with them. Labels: Gatherings

Fengshui Tips....
Came across a very interesting article about some fengshui tips on decorations to help make 2010 a very happy and healthy year while i was browsing one of the home decor magazines i bought today. Not sure what it says on the magazine helps or not but to those who believe in fengshui might want to give it a try.It says that this year, the positive stars lie in the north, east, west and north-west, while the negative stars are believed to be in the south, south-east, south-west and north-east sectors of the home. So the first step, you might want to find out all the directions of your home before beginning to re-arranging your decors and furniture.
In the North - scholar star 4 is associated with education and heralds academic achievements or career promotions. Suggestion - It is naturally wise to have the study table placed in this area, but avoid sitting with your back to the north, best face the direction instead.
In the East - star 6 brings wealth and financial stability. Suggestion - Generate as much of the positive energy as possible with a moving water feature or aquarium. It is ideal to place your sofa here as activity and motion will stir up the good qi.
In the West - star 1 indicates career advancements and promotions. Suggestion - An aquarium, water feature or plant will trigger the power of this star. Move the sofa or other pieces of furniture the family uses often to this area to help create more positive energy.
In the North-West - Conception star 9 is good for weddings or having babies (avoid activating this sector if you're not hoping for these). Suggestion - This is the ideal location for the matrimonial bed (but if you do not wish to activate this star, simple place a decorative item here and refrain from using the area).
PS. I will post the rest of the negative stars directions and suggestions some other time.

Happy CNY 2010....

Happy Chinese New Year Everyone!!! Yes, the year of the tiger is finally here and guess what my darling baby will be a tiger too LOL. But honestly, i find that this year's Chinese new year kind of rather boring or should i say as we get older Chinese new year gets more and more boring LOL.
This Chinese new year, didn't get much new clothing only managed to buy 2 dresses and 2 new pair of sandals, no new bags or accessories (sigh). Didn't visit any realtives and friends too, stay and rot at mum's place most of the day and time. Life seems so meaningless this new year. I wonder what's wrong? Is your Chinese new year like mine too?
Found something interesting on the net about my career luck this year - "It is a near certainty that 2010 will bring you at least one dramatic change in their career, whether a new role in your position, or a different job altogether. Whether this change is voluntary or discouraging, you should take heart in that these transitions hold a wealth of potential for you. Even if your new job isn't what you expect, or is somewhat disappointing, it is likely it will very quickly lead to more desirable opportunities you couldn't have anticipated. Do your best in any situation, work diligently to develop your skills, and take responsibilities seriously, even if they feel beneath you at times. Take heart, you will receive ample recognition next year for the dues you pay now."
LOL wonder should i believe that or should i ignore it? What about your career luck this year says? Is the year of the great roaring TIGER a good year for everyone? It is said that both me and hubby will have a great tiger year but second day of Chinese new year we already start arguing (what a great year man!).
PS. Shanna, i will try to update as much as i can but i must also have something to blog about what right LOL!!!
